主讲嘉宾简介:

Jingying Zhang is a Director at Walmart Supply Chain Analytics, where she a Principal Data Scientist at Walmart Labs and leads a data science team build different analytical products using advanced technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, simulation, and optimization to help business users make smarter and better data driven decisions in order to improve operation efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Since Jingying joined Walmart in 2011, she has worked across different organizations at Walmart, including Global People Analytics, Global Business Process, Global Data and Analytics Platform, Customer Technology, and Walmart Supply Chain Analytics to provide a wide range of analytical support. Through leading development and implementation of different data driven products such as associate segmentation, electronic prescription auto-input, anomaly and trend detection, demand forecasting and pack size optimization, Jingying established a reputation as a subject matter expert and go-to person in analytics domain.

Over the course of her career, Jingying has received numerous honors including Making the Difference (MAD) from Walmart Supply Chain, Spark Award from Walmart Labs, an outstanding female technologist for attending She Rocks program, second place in the poster competition at the first annual Walmart Analytics Meeting.

Jingying has two master’s degrees in Statistics from the University of Arkansas and Electrical Engineering from the Henan Polytechnic University. She obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

 

 

讲座主要内容:

Leveraging descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics to support many business use cases such as Omni-channel network optimization, demand forecasting, anomaly and trend detection, pack size optimization, markdown analysis…etc. to empower Walmart supply chain to make data driven decisions based on valuable data assets and identify the best opportunities to reduce supply chain cost, drive sales and provide seamless customer shopping experience both physically and digitally.
